Bobbi Kristina Brown’s aunt, Leolah Brown, posted a strongly worded Facebook message urging the public to “please ignore any of these LIES coming from the media” after a report surface that Whitney Houston’s daughter was being taken home to die.

The report surfaced yesterday in gossip site radaronline, which has a sketchy record for getting its fact straight.

The Web site claimed that Bobbi Kristina’s co-guardian Pat Houston told father Bobby Brown that it was time to “pull the plug” on Whitney Houston’s daughter because it is “costing too much money to keep her.”

Pat Houston, the wife of Whitney’s brother Gary Houston, and dad Bobby Brown, hold joint legal guardianship over “Krissy.”

TheImproper reported in April that the timing of Bobbi Kristina death has a huge impact on how her estate, estimated at $12 million to $20 million, is divided among her relatives.

While Bobbi, 22, inherited everything from her mother, the will stipulated that she had to receive the money in stages at 21, 25 and 30 years of age.

If she dies anytime before those dates, the Houston family stands to gain, because the will names them as heirs of the residual estate upon her death.

But the Browns stand to inherit any money that transfers to Bobbi’s name. If Bobbi dies after she turns 30, Bobby Brown will inherit the entire estate and the Houstons will get nothing

While it’s impossible to know the motives of the various family members, the estate, which ultimately could total in the tens of millions of dollars a year in perpetuity, may help explain the disparity in views about Bobbi Kristina’s condition.

Krissy was found unconscious floating face down in a bathtub on January 31. It was only two weeks before her mother’s death on the eve of the Grammy Awards in February 2012. She has not regained consciousness since.

She was taken off life support and moved to a long-term care facility in hopes that she may ultimately recover.

Leolah Brown claimed in her Facebook post that Pat Houston told Bobby Brown it was time to pull the plug. “It is evident & obvious that SOMEONE just does not want to see my niece LIVE,” she wrote.

“Don’t believe any reports that Bobby is going to take her off life support,” an unnamed “Brown family source” told People on May 28. “He’s never going to do that.”

Unfortunately, medical doctors have never released a statement on Bobbi Kristina’s true condition, leaving the door open to continuing media speculation.
