Khloe Kardashian has been unnerved by ex-husband Lamar Odom because of his recent bizarre behavior and deep denial about the end of their marriage. He made chilling remarks in a new interview that suggests he’s capable of murder-suicide to be with Khloe “forever.”

Their divorce was finalized last month, but it wasn’t the end of their drama.

After months of separation, the chilling events unfolded last week. Lamar showed up at Khloe’s early morning spin class last Wednesday (Aug. 12) at Soul Cycle in Beverly Hills.

He began shouting and demanded to speak with her, an eyewitness told gossip site TMZ.

When he tried to touch to her, Khloe freaked. “Get off of me, get off of me. Stop. Stop!” she reportedly screamed. She was visibly shaken and left immediately, the eye-witness said.

“Khloe is still freaked out by the whole incident and she is really shaken up… This was really scary,” a source told RadarOnline.

Family members reportedly urged her to get a restraining order. (So far she hasn’t)

Things have gotten even scarier since. In an In Touch magazine interview published today (Aug. 19) Lamar was described as rambling and at times “incoherent.”

He still called Khloe his wife and said chillingly “We’ll never part.”

He clearly exhibited behavior that suggested deep denial. Coupled with possible psychosis and deep depression, Lamar may be a time-bomb waiting to explode.

In some ways, the situation parallels the 2012 murder of Kasandra Perkins by boyfriend, Jovan Belcher a linebacker for the Kansas City Chiefs. He subsequently killed himself.

The vast majority of murder-suicides involve family members or people in relationships and are almost always committed by men. And, they follow predictable patterns, according to a study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.

According to the study:

Clinical depression, specific motivations such as male sexual proprietariness… and a history of previous suicide attempts are important in explaining underlying psychopathological mechanisms.

Belcher’s struggle with drugs, alcohol, and clinical depression are similar to Lamar’s own struggle with his demons.

Lamar also exhibited signs of obsessive behavior. He repeatedly referred to Khloe as his wife and said how hurtful it was to see her with another man, according to the magazine.

Earlier this summer Khloe was linked romantically with NBA player James Harden, 25, who is six years her junior and 10 years younger than Lamar.

“That woman is my wife. Without the ring on my finger. [Even] with her picture being taken with another man, that woman is my wife,” Lamar insisted

“She’s [my] soul mate. I can’t control it. We’ll never part,” he said.

Lamar and Khloe married in 2009 after dating for only a month, and he was soon caught up in the Kardashian publicity machine.

His stellar basketball career eventually began to unravel. Teammates said he was too distracted by the reality shows and the constant spotlight.

It’s impossible to know Lamar’s state of mind or what he’s capable of. But his recent behavior says he’s suffering from denial and psychological problems that demand attention.

Khloe has every right to be fearful.

Footnote: Lamar insists he did not attack Khloe. She knew he was going to be at Spin Cycle because they spoke earlier that morning, he told InTouch. “I am not, not, not the person that they’re trying to make me out to be,” he said.
