Monica Bellucci, the Italian bombshell who stars in the latest James Bond movie “Spectre,” commands attention in a stunning new photo spread. She’s a dark, alluring dominatrix, complete with a leather bustier, thigh-high boots and a riding crop. Giddy up!

The 50-year-old actress appears in the September edition of Marie Claire Mexico.

Bellucci, who is a national treasure in Italy, began modelling at age 13. /She’s been in the spotlight ever since.

Her mesmerizing natural beauty seems cut from the same cloth as Sophia Loren and other Italian sex sirens.

Her breakout role came in in 1996 for her portrayal of Lisa in “The Apartment,” a French romantic drama. She co-starred with Vincent Cassel and was nominated for a César Award for best supporting actress.

Monica Bellucci Stuns as Alluring Dominatrix

She’s come full circle with her latest role in “Spectre” with the latest Bond, Daniel Craig.

“It was never really a dream of mine to become a ‘Bond Girl,'” she says.

“If it came to me before I would have been really excited because Bond movies are legendary. Bat 50, it’s the best compliment to be the first ‘Bond Lady.'”

“It was so unexpected, and I am grateful to the great director Sam Mendes for proposing it to me.”

She attributes being a sex siren at 50 to changing perceptions and increasing longevity.

She explains:

“Human life expectancy has considerably increased, compared to past generations. Today, 50-year-old women and men are different than before. This is particularly evident in advertising. More and more, we’re getting used to see mature women still looking beautiful and attractive. But it’s not all about the outside, at 50 we realize that our life is precious, that we still have projects and we focus more on the essential things: serenity, happiness and well-being.”

Bellucci last appeared in “The Wonders,” a 2014 Italian drama. It competed for the Palme d’Or at the 2014 Cannes Film Festival. It won the Grand Prix award.

She last appeared in an American film in 2010’s “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice,” and “The Whistle Blower.”

Check out her photos and get re-acquainted. “Spectre” hits theaters in October.
