Bindi Irwin, the charismatic daughter of the late Australian wildlife expert Steve Irwin, has proved you can take the outback out of the girl under the bright lights of ABC’s “Dancing With the Stars.” She topped all scores again last night.

Bindi, who is now 17, grew up in the spotlight and often appeared on her dad’s widely watched television show. So she’s used to an audience.

And she showed it. Not only does she have youth–and flexibility–going for her, but she has a 1,000-watt personality that lights up the stage when she’s dancing. She knows how to ham it up.

Plus, she and professional partner Derek Hough make a cute couple. But they aren’t about cuteness; they’re about killer moves on the dance floor.

Last night, they performed a tango to AC/DC’s electrifying “You Shook Me All Night Long.” The theme was “Hometown Glory Night.”

They had the audience on their feet again, and the judges bubbling with praise. They received straight eights from the judges.

“You are so fun… Overall, I loved it,” said former dancer and now judge Julianne Hough.

“You rocked my world,” said Carrie Ann Inaba.

Last week, Irwin and Hough danced the jive to Elton John’s “Crocodile Rock.” Bindi earned her nickname, “Wonder from Down Under” from judge Bruno Tonioli
