Hillary, the real one that is, made a surprise appearance on the show and had no trouble with her lines or hitting her cues.
Maybe she has a future as a sketch comedian.
She also proved she was a pretty good sport. McKinnon plays to all of the Democratic Presidential front-runner’s stereotypes: tightly wound and a little too shifty for her own good.
But Val is nothing if not sympathetic. In fact “Hillary,” can’t believe she’s finally found someone who seems to understand her.
McKinnon’s Hillary is sitting in the bar bemoaning the last 22-years or so of her life. She turns to the bartender for another drink and there’s the real Hillary, an “ordinary” woman, who is passionately against the Keystone pipeline.
Hillary (the real one) also does a hilarious impression of possible Republican Presidential contender Donald Trump.
“Oh Val, I’m just so darn bummed,” said McKinnon. “All anyone wants to talk about is Donald Trump.”
“Donald Trump?” the friendly bartender replies. “Isn’t he the one that’s like,’Auhh, you’re all losers?'”
“That’s him!” says McKinnon.
“Do you think he’ll win the primaries?” asks the friendly bartender.
“He must,” says the faux Hillary. “I want to be the one to takes him down. I will destroy him and I will mount his hair in the Oval Office.”
Bill Clinton also makes a cameo.
