Low flying tabloids have been reporting for weeks that she and personal assistant Alicia Cargile had broken up.
That presumes, of course, that they were ever dating in the first place. Neither Stewart nor Cargile have neither confirmed, nor denied, a relationship.
Anything beyond that has been pure conjecture, based on comments from the usual anonymous “sources” and published by tabloids were little or no credibility.
Stewart fueled a new round of speculation when she was spotted at a concert by hardcore band PVRIS last week in New York City. “Sources” claimed
she hook up with singer Lyndsey Gunnulfsen, who is outwardly gay.
Tabs conveniently overlooked the fact that she has been in a relationship since 2012 with Love, Robot guitarist, Alexa San Roman. So far, there have been no reports they’ve split.
Not surprisingly, the LAX paps yelled questions, demanding to know who she is seeing. Videos of the encounter were posted on YouTube provoking responses from fans.
“This is just like saying, ‘oh my friend is gay you should totally date them to someone that is gay. You can’t just assume that they’ll date because they’re both queer,” wrote one commenter. “This romance is not juicy, it is not a love story.”
