Selena only plays a small role in the film. Moretz does most of the heavy lifting as a hard partying sorority girl.
When Chloe’s character Shelby learns her sorority house bars parties and most other “fun,” she decides to create her own party house. They land next to Mac and Kelly, played by Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne.
You may recall, in “Neighbors,” Mac and Kelly had to deal with a hard-partying fraternity. So who do they turn to for help? None other than their old fratboy nemesis, Teddy (Zac Efron) and Pete (Dave Franco).
From there, the film is all about barely dressed naughty girls. Who can argue with that? Apparently not Mac, who is constantly titilated by his raucous neighbors.
For his part, Efron can’t seem to keep his shirt on.
The last time Selena played a bad girl was in the 2013 movie “Spring Breakers.” She urged her younger fans not to see the movie back then. Wonder how she feels about this one?
Moretz considers herself a feminist and has turned down roles that are overtly sexual. So is this film empowering or exploitative?
