Lawrence is everywhere these days. She recently appeared in a stunningGlamour magazine photo spread by Patrick Demarchelier.
In her latest coup, she graces the cover of Vanity Fair magazine’s annual Hollywood issue, aptly titled “The Year of the Woman.”
How could she not?
Lawrence, who is only 25, has already won an Oscar and been nominated four times, including this year for best actress. She played miracle mop entrepreneur Joy Mangano in the hit movie “Joy.” She’s already won a Golden Globe for the role.
Her next role has Oscar written all over it as well. She’ll play, Marita Lorenz, the real life lover of Cuban revolutionary Fidel Castro. The CIA hired her to assassinate him after he spurned her and forced her to abort their love child.
Lorenz was a real-life firebrand who detailed her exploits in her memoir, “Marita: One Woman’s Extraordinary Tale of Love and Espionage From Castro to Kennedy.” She knew Lee Harvey Oswald and figured in the assassination of President Kennedy as well.
Eric Warren Singer, who co-wrote another Lawrence picture, “American Hustle,” is writing the script. The movie is slated for a late-2017 release.
Vanity Fair’s multi-generation group of 13 actresses includes Helen Mirren, 70, and Cate Blanchett, 46, Saoirse Ronan, 21, Brie Larson, 25, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, 32, and Swedish breakout star Alicia Vikander, 27, among others.
All of the actresses were interviewed for the feature and Lawrence was asked what kind of advice she would give a 10-year-old female fan.
Jennifer said: “Always be nice. It’s never not cool to be the nice girl.”
It doesn’t get any better than that for the sassy n’ sweet actress. Check out her photos and the video below. Let us know your thoughts and be sure to follow IM on Twitter for the latest celebrity news.
