Kanye West has set the world, or at least pop culture, on end with his recent off-the-wall Twitter rants. Are they expressions of his Id? Are they signs of a breakdown? Or something more sinister? Dr. Phil offered his prognosis on James Cordon last night. Hilarious!

Dr. Phil, who hosts a daytime talkshow, has his own issues. But maybe it just may take one to know one.

Cordon opened the issue with fair presumption. “Everybody is talking, right now, about Kanye West and his Tweets. As a professional, what do you think is wrong with him?

“Does it really take a professional?” Dr. Phil replied chuckling.

“You can’t be that wrong that many times in a row unless you’re working on it,” the psychologist said.

If Kanye has any motive, it’s the profit motive. Phil suggested he was just throwing things against the wall for publicity.

“We’re talking about it aren’t we?” he reasoned.

Rapper Bow Wow, real name Shad Gregory Moss, also a guest on the show, offered a different take. He said Kanye is just a really, really passionate artist.

Of course, Dr. Phil just can’t shut up. So he finally reveals the real culprit–society. Today’s millennials are addicted to “oversharing.”

“Everybody thinks stuff sometimes; you’ll think of something really stupid, but we’re in a society now, we’re in a generation now, where everybody thinks you got to have an audience for everything,” he explained.

“We’re so narcissistic now, everybody’s doing selfies of themselves brushing their teeth. I don’t care! But everybody’s gotta post it up.” he added.
