George Clooney, Jessica Chastain and Sean Penn were among Hollywood A-listers who saluted the Oscars last night by reading some of their mean Tweets on “Jimmy Kimmel Live.” Is Penn really a butthole with a penis nose and scrotum face?

Kimmel’s mean Tweets has become a staple of his show and last night’s segment pulled out the stops.

“While awards shows are a place where accolades are lavished upon the talented men and women of film, Twitter is kind of the opposite. For your inconsideration we present a special movie star edition of #MeanTweets,” according to the segment’s promo.

Clooney was also joined by the likes of Kevin Hart, Christolph Waltz, Eddie Redmayne and others who have been similarly insulted by Twitter trolls. It’s amazing how such cruel comments can be so funny.

“Jessica Chastain looks like Julia Roberts’ ghost,” read the pale-skinned actress. Hey, that wasn’t so bad. “I like that one,” Chastain added.

Another used Patricia Arquette’s teeth as an illustration of how “fu*ked up” they were getting.

“If that gross, ratty old man George Clooney can find a girl… you regular fellas out there in the twitterverse must be drowning in pussy,” the actor deadpanned. Clooney, of course, is married to international beauty Amal Alamuddin.

Added to them were Emily Blunt, Taraji P. Henson, Richard Dreyfuss, Susan Sarandon and Zach Galifianakis.

And the list goes on.

Our favorite had to be this one: “Emily Blunt has a purdy mouth… that I’d like to poop in.”
