Mick Jagger isn’t rolling stones, he’s throwing them at the marriage of his ex-wife Jerry Hall to Rupert Murdoch. He’s been in a running feud with Murdoch for years over his treatment by the media baron’s tabloid newspapers.

Mick was reportedly “absolutely staggered and horrified,” by the union. The ceremony took place yesterday in London.

“He has been seething because this means that Rupert Murdoch is going to become a part of his extended family, and Mick has a real problem with that,” a friend told London’s Daily Mail.

Jagger seduced Hall, then a leading model, at the height of her career in 1977. She was just 21; he was 34. At the time, she had already appeared on 40 magazine covers including Italian Vogue and Cosmopolitan.

Their relationship lasted 21 years, an astounding record for high-profile celebrities.

They had four children together Elizabeth ‘Lizzie’ Jagger, 32, James Leroy Augustin Jagger, 31, Georgia May Ayeesha Jagger, 24, and Gabriel Luke Beauregard Jagger, 19.

In her autobiography, Hall called Jagger “a dangerous sexual predator” who could kick heroin but not his sexual addiction. Hall said at the time Jagger’s repeated infidelity ended their marriage.

During their marriage, he allegedly bedded some of the wealthiest and most beautiful women in the world. They included heiress Catherine Guinness and Lady Natasha Fraser. Added to the list were New York socialite Gwen Rivers, singer Nadine Expert and model Lisa Barbuscia, according to tabloid reports.

They divorced in 1999. Ironically, Murdoch indirectly had a hand in the breakup. Murdoch’s tabloid The Sun, broke the story about Mick’s illegitimate child with Brazilian model Luciana Morad.

The divorce was one of the biggest in English history. Mick forfeited about $45 million in a legal settlement that allowed her to continue living in their family home in Richmond, a swank London suburb, according to the UK’s Independent newspaper.

Mick and Jerry have remained cordial over the years because of their children. But she didn’t bother to tell him in advance about her pending marriage to Murdoch, who at 84, is 25 years her senior.

What most be particularly grating is that Murdoch has been staying with Hall at Mick’s old Richmond home, even though he still owns it.

After the wedding, Murdoch Tweeted: “Feel like the luckiest AND happiest man alive.”

At least part of that joy must be coming from putting one over on poor ole Mick.
