Miley Cyrus has long been a tabloid princess, but whoever thought she’d act like a tabloid? She published two nasty photos of “Fuller House” actress Jodie Sweetin on her Instagram account, purportedly taken during Sweetin’s wild years when she was heavily into drugs and alcohol.

The photos show Sweetin straddling an unidentified, tattooed dirtbag, wearing low-riding purple pants and a flimsy black camisole top.

Both are smoking cigarettes and look totally smashed. He’s staring at her breasts, which are inches from his nose. Miley tagged the photos “Current mood #fullerhouse” without further explanation.

Whether she was expressing how she felt is unknown. Also unknown is how she came across the photos, which reportedly are several years old and why she decided to post them.

They were clearly an embarrassment to Sweetin, now 34, who has since cleaned up her act.

Social media scolds were quick to take Miley to task. “You know this would get headlines and she’s a mother. Just want to humiliate someone,” wrote one Instagram user in a widely circulated quote.

“Fuller House” is a reboot of the sitcom “Full House,” which aired from 1987 to 1995. The Netflix original program includes many of the actors who appeared in the original series, including Sweetin, who plays Stephanie Tanner, who quits her London D.J. job to help her sister raise her kids.

Candace Cameron Bure is the lead actress. She plays Dr. D.J. Tanner Fuller, a single mother, who works as a veterinarian.

Original cast members, John Stamos and Bob Saget have recurring roles, although Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, who alternated in the role of toddler Michelle Tanner on “Full House,” turned down parts.

Sweetin was five years old when she started appearing in the original series. She appeared in all 192 episodes during the series run.

Although the series was generally trashed by critics, Neflix announced last week that the sitcom was being renewed for a second season.

Sweetin says in her memoir “unSweetined.” that she started drinking at 14 and spent the next 15 years on a wide ride fueled by alcohol and drugs, including ecstasy, meth, crack, cocaine and other illegal drugs. She was married three times and has two children.

She turned her life around and has been sober for a number of years, which helped fuel the anger at Miley. She’s also set to appear on the upcoming season of “Dancing With the Stars.”

If “Fuller House” was having trouble drawing viewers, it won’t now. Miley saw to that. Wait…was this a staged publicity stunt?
