The E! Entertainment Network, which is known for reality shows starring Kim and sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian, scraped the bottom when it created “Rich Kids.”
The show is promoted as “a shamelessly addicting docu-series filled with shocking betrayals, bold confrontations, and petty grudges.”
The cast is made up mostly of unknowns. Dorothy Wang, Morgan Stewart, Brendan Fitzpatrick, Jonny Drubel, EJ (Earvin) Johnson and Bianca Espada will anchor the new season.
Only Wang has any kind of public profile outside the show.
She’s billed as a an heiress who is set to inherit her family’s $4 billion company.
Daddy Roger Wang may have something to say about that. He’s the chairman and chief executive of the Golden Eagle International Group. And, she has an older sister.
Most of Wang’s businesses are in China, although he made the Forbes magazine list of 400 richest people in America. He’s said to be a billionaire and divides his time between Hong Kong and L.A.
The show will also be broadening its demographic reach. Latina lifestyle blogger Bianca Espada will be adding her “personality, impeccable style and relatability” to the cast, according to the show’s rep.
It helps that Espada is a long-time friend of Wang’s, so those two will undoubtedly get into a lot of mischief together.
But don’t get the wrong impression, neither Espada nor Wang are Rob Kardashian slackers. Bianca attended the Savannah School of Arts & Design, graduating with a degree in Fine Arts in Advertising.
Wang graduate from the University of Southern California. She has a head for business and body for sex.
We’ve been tipped that this season will deal with a wedding, changing careers and entering the dating game. Yes, the kids are growing up.
Season 4, will premiere on Sunday, April 17 at 10pm.
