Abbey Lee Kershaw, the fetching Australian model known as Abbey Lee for short, was over-the-top electrifying at the Neon Demon premiere in New York City–a little too over the top. She suffered a wardrobe malfunction on the red carpet that saw her bust out of her low cut dress.
The Julien MacDonald design exposed Lee’s neck, upper chest and breasts as well as her well-toned abdominals.
What little it left to the imagination, popped out during her red carpet appearance at the premiere. It was held at the Metrograph yesterday (June 22) in New York City.
Lee, 29, an Australian native who has been hailed as a supermodel, got a little too up close and personal with fellow model Crystal Renn. As they embraced tightly, Lee suffered a nipple slip that is clearly visible in photographs.
Lee is likely more than comfortable in loose fitting outfits from her years on fashion catwalks in New York, London, Paris and Milan.
The five-foot, 11-inch tall model signed with Next Management in 2007. In less than year, she was already being hailed as the next supermodel. She debuted at New York Fashion week in 2008 and walked in 29 shows.
She posed nude in the 2010 Pirelli Calendar by Terry Richardson and the 2011 Pirelli Calendar by Karl Lagerfeld.
Lee gave up the runway in 2012 and started focusing on acting. She debuted in the 2015 post-apocalyptic thriller “Mad Max: Fury Road,” with Charlize Theron. She also appeared in this year’s fantasy “Gods of Egypt,” starring Gerard Butler.
“Neon Demon” is her most ambitious role yet. The film is about the cutthroat world of modeling, a subject Abbey likely knows all too well. The film also stars Elle Fanning and Bella Heathcote.
