Jessica Simpson has finally made peace with her body after many highly publicized weight loss struggles. Looking back, Simpson is glad she never got plastic surgery on her breasts or nose.
Jessica, who has naturally big boobs, considered getting breast reduction but ultimately decided against plastic surgery.
“I thought I was going to get a breast reduction, but after having kids, I’m like, you know what, my boobs are actually really big but I like how they are,” Simpson told Women’s Health. “They’re an asset, and [my husband Eric Johnson] loves them still.”
Jessica, whose bra cup size is 34DD, joked: “They have a way of making themselves present. My boobs just have their own life.”
Simpson looks fantastic after losing 70 pounds following her two pregnancies.
Jessica’s weight loss secrets were a low-carb diet and rigorous exercise, Celebrity Health Fitness reported.
“Workouts are an emotional experience,” said Simpson. “I exercise to clear my head. It makes me stronger on every level.”
Jessica’s low-carb diet combines high-quality proteins like salmon and chicken with fresh vegetables and salads. She also avoids processed foods and limits sugar intake.
Low carb, high-fat diets like the Atkins and ketogenic diets accelerate weight loss by encouraging the body to burn fat for fuel, said obesity expert Maria Emmerich, author of Quick and Easy Ketogenic Cooking.
Jessica Simpson plans to launch a fitness apparel line soon.
Simpson said her weight fluctuations have made her a better fashion designer.
“I have been every size there is,” said Jessica. “I know what looks good on a variety of body types.”
The blonde beauty is her own best advertisement for her Jessica Simpson clothing line, which fits women of all sizes.
“Every woman should feel like she can wear what the model is wearing down the runway,” said Jessica, whose fashion and shoe lines have grossed over $1 billion in annual sales.
Simpson, who was mercilessly fat-shamed when she gained weight, said the constant media scrutiny sucks, but she has come to love her stomach and nose — two features she once disliked.
“I’m hard on myself,” said Simpson. “I do love my legs, but my favorite physical attribute is my nose because it’s not perfect. Since I’ve worked out so hard, I’m also loving my stomach, knowing I grew babies in it.”
