Donald Trump pledges to do far more for black voters than rival Hillary Clinton, including giving them their own bathrooms and water fountains in a new campaign ad that aired on “Conan O’Brien” last night. Wait a minute isn’t that a return to segregation?

The campaign ad was actually a hilarious send up of Trump’s recent appeal to African-American voters made in front of largely white audiences.

Trump has been criticized for reaching out to black voters while refusing to appear at historically African-American colleges or speak before black organizations like the NAACP.

Trump could possibly get no more than 2 percent of the African-American vote, according to Political scientist Larry Sabato. If so, it will be the lowest of any presidential candidate of either party in the nation’s history.

The most recent NBC News/WSJ/Marist polls in two crucial swing states–Ohio and Pennsylvania–showed Trump with just one percent of black vote, according to NBC.

In a campaign appearance in Michigan, Trumped made his case.

“You’re living in poverty, your schools are no good, you have no jobs, 58 percent of your youth is unemployed. What the hell do you have to lose?” he told the largely white crowd.

O’Brien, who is known for his rapier wit, pulled no punches in his faux campaign ad.

The ad opens with a “Trump” voice-over.

“Let’s face it; blacks, your lives here stink,” he says. “You live in terrible neighborhoods, you have no jobs, you’re in prison and you’re in constant fear of dinosaur attack.”

“But that all changes when I’m president,” the “candidate” says. “You blacks love me.”

It gets even crazier from there, but the ending is like a dagger in the heart to Trump’s transparent appeal.
