Audrina Patridge definitely got a bum deal when she was voted off “Dancing With the Stars,” but if a foul-mouthed, drunken mom ranting about the injustice of it all is what we get in return, better to be gone with her.
Mom Lynn Patridge was spotted drunk and smoking a cigarette outside the Los Angeles restaurant Beso, and was caught on video trashing the show and surprisingly her daughter’s former Hills co-stars, specifically Lauren Conrad.
“Audrina is going to f***ing rise. She’s got class. She’s a Polish, Catholic, f***ing full-on Italian. Not only that, she was raised right. And I don’t give a s***t. It’s all American,” she fumed.
She also called her daughter’s former ‘The Hills’ costars “tramps.”
Of Conrad she had special invective:
“We’re going to f***ing smoke, especially Lauren Conrad’s pissy a** little fashion s***,” she slurred. “That b***h wants to bring it on? Let’s go!”
The tirade was apparently sparked when Patridge and professional partner Tony Dovolani earned 24 points out of 30 for their rock-inspired paso doble on Monday’s episode.
But despite the high score, head judge Len Goodman told her that she was “getting on my nerves a bit.”
Patridge was picked by many to possibly win the competition because of her grace on the dance floor. As one of a handful of non-professional dancers, she had made tremendous progress on the show.
But the contestants are being voted off by popular vote now, and that tends to skew the results in favor of contestants with big fan bases or a high profile in the news.
Kate Gosselin stayed on the show way past her expiration date as a result, and so apparently is Bristol Palin, who has finished last, or near last on most of the shows.
Audrina was visibly upset when she was ousted Tuesday night — a move Goodman called ludicrious, but showed real class.
“I had so much fun this entire experience and made such good new friends,” she said, thanking the judges and her fans. “It’s been a fun journey.”
She obviously didn’t inherit that from her mom.
