Paris Jackson cried on Instagram while revealing she had attempted suicide in 2013 due to vicious cyberbullying.

Paris Jackson, the daughter of the late Michael Jackson, broke down in tears on Instagram while revealing she had attempted suicide in 2013 because of vicious cyberbullying.

“When I was 14 I got so much hatred [on social media] that I tried to kill myself,” Paris, 18, said in a since-deleted Instagram video.

“I don’t understand how there can be so much hatred in the world.”

Jackson tried to block haters who left mean messages and eventually took a two-year break from Instagram.

After Paris returned to social media, she said nothing had changed, and online bullies continue to make her life hell by posting nasty comments.

“I’ve tried sticking up for myself, I’ve tried the whole blocking the haters thing, not reading the comments, Jackson cried. “But it’s hard when there’s so much of it.”

Paris continued: “I don’t get why I’m such an easy target. I try to be nice to everybody that I meet. I give everyone a chance. I’m usually a very trusting person.”

Jackson said she understood why Justin Bieber recently took a break from Instagram after haters targeted his girlfriend, Sofia Richie.

“I don’t blame Justin for deleting his Instagram account,” said Paris. “The type of harassment I see on my account daily is enough to make someone suicidal.”

In a 2012 interview with Oprah Winfrey, Paris revealed she was bullied at school and also the target of nasty cyberbullying (see video starting at 1:35).

While Jackson told Oprah then that she was able to ignore the bullying, she was hospitalized in 2013 after attempting suicide by cutting her wrists and overdosing on pills.

Paris has since kept a low profile and remains very close to her brothers: Prince Michael Jackson Jr. (a.k.a. – Blanket) and Michael Joseph Jackson Jr. (a.k.a – Prince).

Shortly after her Instagram lament, Paris apologized, but said she needed to vent her feelings.

“Sorry for the rant, it’s some stuff that I’ve been holding in for a long time,” said Paris. “We’re human beings, man. We’ve got hearts and brains and feelings. And when you say damaging things like that to people, it f***s them up.”
