Marion Cotillard has been identified as the homewrecking floozy behind Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt‘s shocking divorce.
Sources said Angelina dumped Brad after learning he had cheated on her with French actress Marion Cotillard on the set of their World War II movie “Allied.”
“She hired a private eye because she felt he was fooling around on the set and it turns out, he was,” a source told Page Six. “And that was the final straw.”
Insiders said Pitt, 52, is going through a midlife crisis and got caught up in a torrid on-set love affair with Cotillard, 40.
“He’s in the throes of some insane midlife crisis, and Angie is fed up,” said the source.
Marion famously claimed the United States faked the moon landing. The airhead also blamed the U.S. for staging the 9/11 terrorist attacks.
Cotillard is dating French actor Guillaume Canet, 43, and reportedly denies cheating with Brad.
Angelina was also furious that Brad reverted to doing drugs and drinking again while filming “Allied” (see trailer).
“The atmosphere [off-set] was full of hard drugs and Russian hookers, and Angie was told Brad got caught up in it,” said the insider.
Rumors have swirled for months that Brad and Marion were having an affair.
Sources close to Brangelina said Jolie, 41, wants to travel more and focus on humanitarian work, while Pitt is more interested in making movies and partying in Hollywood.
“The older she gets, the more serious she becomes, and she is sick of the Hollywood thing,” said the insider.
“He wants to make movies. She doesn’t. It’s a fundamental difference. It’s how you live your life.”
In the divorce papers filed on Sept. 19, Angelina seeks primary physical custody of the couple’s six children, Celebrity Health Fitness reported.
Angelina is not seeking alimony.
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt married in August 2014, but have been together since 2005.
Brangelina was supposed to film a sequel to “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” but now that project is up in the air because of their divorce.
Pitt and Jolie reportedly have a combined net worth of about $425 million: Brad is worth $240 million, while Angelina’s net worth is allegedly $185 million.
Angelina and Brad reportedly signed a prenuptial agreement with a cheating clause that would award primary custody of their children to Angie if Pitt ever cheated.
Under the prenup, each party will walk away with the millions they came into the marriage with, while any joint income they earned during their marriage will be put away into a trust for their children.
Angelina, who has been a U.N. goodwill ambassador since 2001, said charity work totally changed her life in her memoir, Notes from My Travels.
