Taylor Swift has a new album out and another new look to go with it. She’s exudes a darker sexuality in a new photo spread in the UK edition of Vogue magazine. It’s a more mature look that ramps up her sensuality to a new level.

Swift debuted the magazine cover and two photos from the shoot today on her Instagram account.

She profusely thanked her editorial team, which included stylist and new magazine Editor-in-Chief Edward Enninful and fashion photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott.

“Thank you @Edward_Enninful, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott for your passion, spirit and contagious laughter on set. @BritishVogue #NewVogue,” she wrote in a caption to the photo.

Enninful was equally effusive in a statment.

“For me, the chance to help transform America’s most fascinating sweetheart was a joy,” “As we took the pop icon on an epic fashion journey with photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, what struck me most about Taylor was her brilliant sense of humor, but also how, for a woman in her twenties, she has an incredible sense of who she is. Obviously she is a world-class lyricist – and has written a stunning poem just for Vogue on the timely subject of reinvention and moving on – but she also takes her duties as a role model very seriously. Taylor is acutely aware of her following and how she communicates with young women, and will never portray a character that would send the wrong message. That said, even superstars aren’t immune to the power of a great dress. Taylor says she has never seen herself transformed like this before, and I was very touched to see how emotional she was at the end of our shoot day in London.”

The shoot, for the January 2018 issue, includes 12 pages of photos and we’ve got five of them.

For the cover, Swift wore a red Saint Laurent minidress by Anthony Vaccarello with leather and ruffles. Anja Rubik modeled the look on the spring/summer 2018 Paris runway in September, according to People.

Swift is planning a world tour in the coming year to support her new album Reputation.
