Trevor Noah wins the late night comedy award for the wittiest description of Donald Trump’s nasty feud with Steve Bannon. “It’s like ‘Alien vs. Sexual Predator,’” Noah said.
The sometimes frosty relationship between the president and the former White House chief strategist turned heated after excerpts from a new tell-all book were released.
In his new book “Fire and Fury,” Author Michael Wolff interviewed Bannon for his behind-the-scenes look at the Trump White House. It wasn’t pretty.
True to form, the outspoken right-wing demagogue all but confirmed that the Trump campaign worked hand-in-hand with Russia to throw the 2016 election.
Among other things, he called Donald Trump Jr.’s meeting with a Russian lawyer during the 2016 presidential election “treasonous.” He said Trump likely also met with the Russians as well.
Trump reportedly exploded at the news and issued a blistering personal attack on Bannon, claiming he’d “lost his mind.”
Check out Trevor’s commentary. The Trump comments are about four minutes into the dialogue.
