Alex Jones traffics in racism, Antisemitism and all manner of vile conspiracy theories as “entertainment” on his Internet show, but, hey, it’s no act, according to former employees. He really is racist, Antisemitic and a sex groper to boot.
The allegations are contained in a blistering complaint submitted to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) by Rob Jacobson, a former Jewish employee who was fired by the conspiracy monger. last may after 13 years.
During that time, Jacobson charges he was continually bullied, ridiculed and humiliated by Jones, who often called him by anti-Semitic slurs.
The EEOC complaint, filed by Ben Meiselas, a civil rights lawyer at the firm of Geragos & Geragos, is typically the precursor to a lawsuit.
“As alleged in the charges filed, Infowars not only waged a war on the public, spewing disinformation and abhorrent conspiracy theories, but also waged war on the integrity and dignity of its employees,” Meiselas told London’s Daily Mail.
Jones sparked outrage in 2014 by claiming Sandy Hook massacre of 20 young children was a “false flag” attack perpetrated by the US government. He claimed no one died and said the victims were “child actors.”
He claimed the 9/11 terror attacks in New York City and Washington, D.C. and the bombing of a federal building in Oklahoma were government conspiracies.
He he said the Boston Marathon bombings were also a hoax.
He was finally threatened with banishment from YouTube last week for promoting a vile video about the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Fla.
Seventeen people were killed and dozens were wounded by a lone shooter with an AR-15 assault rifle.
One of his more outlandish claims was that the government puts chemicals into the water supply to turn people gay so they are unable to have children.
Ashley Beckford, an African American, said she started working at Free Speech Systems, the parent company of Infowars, in 2016 and was harassed almost from the moment she walked in the door.
She was fired in April 2017 due to excessive “write-ups,” she says.
Beckford, who’s also filed an EEOC complaint, said she was “subjected to different terms and conditions of employment, in comparison to my non-Black African-American peers, when it came to my salary/wages and benefits (travel), and in regards to my dress, including my hair style.”
“I also was subjected to harassment and racial slurs by Respondent’s management and some peer colleagues, as well as subjected to sexual harassment and a hostile, sexually offensive work environment,” she adds.
Specifically, she says she was “mocked” for her skin tone, called a “coon” by a senior manager, and denied promotions to match the salary of other coworkers, according to documents published by London’s Daily Mail.
She also charges supervisors and colleagues with “commonly leering at women in the office” and making “sexual gestures and advances.”
Even Jones got into the act. She says he groped her ass while hugging her. “Simultaneously, he was commenting to those in the room, ‘Who wouldn’t want to have a black wife?.'”
“I felt embarrassed and nervous, but I knew that he had specifically touched my behind at that moment as a sly come-on that other people may not notice,” she said.
Beckford charges that Jones tried to “groom” her for “sexual exploitation” by making comments about her having a “good body that looked like I worked out a lot.”
“Alex often spent his time shirtless, and endlessly leering, with or without a shirt, at female guests and employees while creating a disgusting, hostile environment,” the complaint alleges.
Weapons were constantly on display in Inforwars’ Austin, Texas, Office, which created an “extremely hostile work environment.”
She also says she was reprimanded if she ever questioned the actions of President Donald Trump.
Jones apparently also has an infatuation with gay porn.
“From 2008-2012, Alex Jones called me Beefcake, referring to male porn stars,’ Jacobson says in his complaint. “I felt like this was intimidating and harassing and a form of sexual harassment in that he was grooming me for homosexual sex.”
On one occasion in 2014, Jones and a friend, Shane Steiner, looked at gay porn on Jacobson’s computer, the complaint states.
Jacobson says he was eventually fired over a “misunderstanding” over someone else taking over a project he’d been working on.
