Dianna Agron and Kevin McHale are among “Glee” stars who are sick with sore throats, the flu or tonsillitis, which forced the hit TV series to temporarily halt production for a day.
The show called of production on Friday (Dec. 10), but shooting is expected to resume on Monday (Dec. 13).
Agron, 24, blogged that she spent the weekend in bed watching movies.
“Note to self…should have gotten a flu shot, In bed, hoping that medicine, soup, my computer and a marathon of movies will be the cure.”
Lea Michele seemed to escape whatever was going around, but McHale wasn’t so lucky, according to Entertainment Weekly.
“I think my nose is moments from falling off,” Tweeted McHale, who plays Artie Abrams, on the show.
Michele, who plays Rachel Berry, tweeted: “What a beautiful relaxing day!”
“Went on an awesome hike and just [had] a massage! So happy it’s the weekend! :)”
The cast was reportedly in the middle of shooting a post-Super Bowl episode that’ll feature hits from Michael Jackson’s Thriller album, as well as jams from the Black Eyed Peas and Katy Perry.
In August, Lea, 24, admitted that her dream Glee guest star is Justin Timberlake.
“I think they are saving Justin Timberlake for the Super Bowl episode,” Michele gushed. “They have to be, because he is so perfect for our show. He has to be on it!
“When I met Jessica Biel, like a loser, I asked her to tell Justin to come on our show. [Laughs.]
“She was a little taken aback and said, ‘Um, OK. I’ll tell him.’ “
