Montag, who crowed about becoming the perfect woman, complete with double-D breasts, when she went under the knife, now says she has permanent scars that will never heal.
“Parts of my body definitely look worse than they did pre-surgery,” Montag, 24, tells Life & Style. “This is not what I signed up for.”
Montag, who was already struggling with credibility issues because of her antics with Spencer Pratt, became the butt of late-night television jokes and a poster girl for plastic surgery run amok.
Heidi says she has numerous ugly, visible scars all over her body, including a 2-inch-long raised blemish under her chin from her chin reduction, and two caterpillar-size bald spots along her hairline from a brow lift.
She also has horrifying jagged lines behind her ears from having them pinned back.
She also points to lumpy legs and four scars on her lower back and below the buttocks from botched liposuction.
Worst of all, she says plastic surgery left her boobs uneven, with a stretch mark on her chest and deep scars around her nipples from a second boob job.
“The big dark mark from my chin reduction is probably the most noticeable,” she says.
“But the absolute worst is on my breasts, and the scariest is below my butt cheek. People have fewer scars from car accidents than I have on my body.”
Montag has become known as “plastic girl” and says her foolishness has hurt her career.
“I would love to not be ‘plastic girl’ or whatever they call me,” she says. “Surgery ruined my career and my personal life and just brought a lot of negativity into my world.
Heidi discloses that even a year after her procedures, she still experiences discomfort.
“Sometimes I wake up at night and I have chest pain, and… if I exercise a lot then I get sharp pains in my breasts sometimes. A lot of my scars won’t ever go away.”
Montag says she still has trouble adjusting emotionally to the changes, as well.
“When I look in the mirror today, I don’t really know who I see,” she says.
“It is me and it’s not me. It’s a very weird situation. “Sometimes I’ll run across an old photo and it’s actually shocking sometimes because I’ve been three different people. I’ve had three different faces.”
