Miley Cyrus must be feeling the heat after her latest bong-ripping escapade. She has learned her lesson, says new BFF Kelly Osbourne, A video of her hitting the bong went viral and sparked a new wave of criticism, even from Kelly’s mom Sharon Osbourne.
Osbourne, who is co-starring with Miley in the film, “So Undercover,” is defending the 18-year-old wild child on twitter, and has nothing but nice things to say about Miley.
“Miley and I have become really close. I’m sick of all the haters judging her. She made one mistake and trust me, she has learned her lesson!” Osbourne said.
If that’s the case, this is about the tenth time Miley has learned her lesson.
Going back to her eyebrow raising semi-nude pose for Vanity Fair magazine when she was 15, Miley has taunted and teased with racy photos, barely there clothes and compromising situations that make her a bad role model for teens.
Although early reports claim that Miley was smoking Salvia, a legal although mildly hallucinogenic herb, other celebrities have raised doubts.
Mila Kunis is one of the stars who asserted that the Hannah Montana star likely was smoking illegal marijuana.
But Osbourne said all the hoopla is making her mad. “Miley is one of the most hard working respectful women I have ever worked with. I am learning a lot from her!” she tweeted.
Apparently that opinion isn’t shared by Kelly’s mom, Sharon Osbourne, who is married to metal rocker Ozzy Osbourne.
“Just read in the rags that apparently my mum thinks Miley is a bad influence on me. it could not be farther from the truth! … Actually it’s the other way around. Miley has us all on a health kick. Gym/early nights. [They’re] really scraping the barrel on that one!”
Miley has been caught in the middle of a break up between her parents Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus. Some claim that pressure on Miley from the split is causing her to act out.
Miley’s parents are selling their marital home in Toluca Lake, Calif.
