Natalie Portman is getting a pair of digital panties in her new film, “Your Highness,” after a scene in which she bares her backside in a tiny thong was deemed to risqué for “appropriate audiences.”
The movie set in medieval times, also stars James Franco, Danny McBride and Zooey Deschanel.
Natalie, 29, wears a thong bikini beside a lake in the scene, but trailer raised some eyebrows when it was released.
Now the three-minute clip has been re-released and Portman is wearing a bikini bottom that totally covers her rear.
The scene may have made the difference between a “PG-13” rating and an “R” rating, which could severely restrict the audience for the comedy action-adventure movie.

Entertainment Weekly, which first reported the change, reported, confirmed that the scene was altered so the Motion Picture Association Of American (MPAA) would approve the trailer for screening to ‘appropriate audiences’.
The film currently carries an “R” rating, but whether the unaltered scene makes into the movie will remain to be seen.
The movie also contains adult language and lots of sexual innuendo.
Portman and Mila Kunis ignited the big screen with a lesbian love scene in their new film “Black Swan.”
Portman also did a recent delicate strip in a recent video feature on the New York Times Web site.
