Robert Pattinson will be joining girlfriend, Kristen Stewart, and Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner at tonight’s People’s Choice Awards following a whirlwind trip from Louisiana where he is deep into filming Twilight “Breaking Dawn.”
It what’s becoming a tradition for the awards show, where fans get to pick winners, Pattison, Stewart and Lautner will be appearing together for the third time.
But it took some doing to get Rob there.
He plans to grab a flight from Louisiana and will spend an hour or so to join Stewart and Lautner, and will fly back to the set to continue filming, according to Gossipcop.
The 2011 People’s Choice Awards, hosted by Queen Latifah, will air tonight (Jan. 5) at 9pm on CBS. Those on the Pacific Coast will have to sit through a tape delay.
Pattinson, Stewart, and David Slade’s “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” are all up for awards, and given the movie’s devoted fan base, they are likely to walk off with several.
In addition to Pattinson, Stewart, and Lautner, the following stars are also expected to make appearances: Malin Akerman, Julie Bowen, Michael Chiklis, Miranda Cosgrove, Kaley Cuoco, Taye Diggs, Lisa Edelstein, Zac Efron, Elton John, Neil Patrick Harris, the Kardashians, and Minka Kelly.
Also expected are: Mila Kunis, Ashton Kutcher, Zachary Levi, Jane Lynch, AnnaLynne McCord, Leighton Meester, Stephen Moyer, and Conan O’Brien.
Jerry O’Connell, Jim Parsons, Pauley Perrette, Katy Perry, Natalie Portman, Emma Roberts, Taylor Swift and Kate Walsh. will round out the celebrity appearances.
Kid Rock, Selena Gomez and The Scene have been lined up to perform.
Swift will be making her first public appearance since her devastating breakup with Jake Gyllenhaal, while Gomez will be appearing after being spotted cannodling with Justin Bieber over the holidays, and receiving death threats from his fans.
Pattinson spent New Year’s Eve with Kristen on the Isle of Wight.
