“Gossip Girl” star Leighton Meester expresses the bane of every college student who was ever forced to live in a cramped dorm room with an obsessive-compulsive roommate. “Don’t touch my sh*t!”
Meester, who is starring in the upcoming film “The Roommate,” goes to bat for college dorm dwellers everywhere in a spoof public service announcement ginned up by comedy Web site College Humor.
“My message is simple. Don’t touch my $h!t,” Meester bellows, looking slightly obsessive compulsive. “We live in a world where millions of people go every day without touching my $h!t — why can’t you be one of them?”
Meester exacts the ultimate roommate revenge by labeling all her possessions with her name, and dividing the room with tape.
“Join me, and together we can create a world where people keep their hands to themselves,” she concludes.
The theme of the item echoes her movie, which will debut this weekend (Feb. 4).
In the movie, Minka Kelly plays a college student who tries to warm up to her new roomie, (Meester).
Meester’s character becomes obsessed with her new best friend and things turn ugly.
“It was a really fun ride to watch her play this character,” Kelly tells LA’s ABC affiliate. “She creeped me out the entire time.”
“I love scary movies,” Meester added. “I think it’s really weird that I’m the scary person in this movie. “I’m sane in my life, mostly, nine out of 10, but to just completely let all of that go was uncomfortable, but interesting.”
The movie also stars Cam Gigandet, Alyson Michalka and Danneel Harris.
