Robert Pattinson appears to be heading to the Academy Awards with sidekick, friend, lover (pick one) Kristen Stewart. She’s reportedly too busy. Is there trouble in Twilightville?
Kristen’s hectic work schedule has thrown a wrench in her plans to attend Hollywood’s biggest bash, according to E! Online, leaving Rob to walk the red carpet alone. Or will he?
Rob will now apparently attend the star-studded bash with his “Water For Elephants” co-star Reese Witherspoon.
Reese and Rob are going to present an award together.
Rob told Entertainment Tonight (see video) they had yet to shoot their Water for Elephants love scenes, but shared, “Reese has only got two days [of work] left [on the film]. So … they must expect me to be very professional about it.”
He also says it ends with his character getting beaten up!
If it were up to Kristen, 20, however, she would attend the awards show.
She had been offered the chance to present one of the prestigious awards, which would have given her invaluable exposure, as if she needed it. Clearly she doesn’t.
Stewart will star in a film called K-11 with Jason Mewes, which is being directed by her mother. She’ll play a male character!
She has also been filming the role of Mary Lou in an upcoming film adaptation of Jack Kerouac’s cult classic novel “On the Road.”
The Awards show will air on February 27.
