Lady Gaga chose to low-key her 25th birthday today (Mar. 28) with a simple chicken and waffle breakfast in bed, and a tweet to her nine million fans. “You are all the present I need in the world.”
“I woke up to chicken and waffles in bed, pink tulips, + little monster bday videos. I love you!” she added.
She also tweeted a photo of a doodle “Happy birthday to me.”
Gaga has surpassed teen pop sensation Justin Bieber, who has 8.4 million Twitter followers.
Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, was in Las Vegas over the weekend where she performed at the MGM Grand.
She sang some of her biggest hits, including “Born This Way,” off her new album, and her fans returned the favor by singing happy birthday to her.

Gaga has raised eyebrows by confessing she sleeps in her makeup every night and is moving the egg she “hatched from” during her Grammy performance into her Manhattan apartment.
Apparently, Gaga wants to use the oversized egg as a meditation and sleeping pod.
Lady Gaga, who previously admitted she suffers from chronic insomnia and racing thoughts, confesses she still does drugs a few times a year.
“I won’t lie; it’s occasional,” says Gaga, who says she’s “terrified of heroin” and has never used it. “I really can’t do [cocaine] anymore. I haven’t done it in probably six months.
“Once you open those doors [doing drugs] they’re open forever. People who say they need [drugs] to be creative are full of s**t,” she says.
“I’m not some chick on the road getting high and f***ed up every night. I wake up, drink coffee and get on the phone to talk about the creative direction of the next video.”
While Gaga slept in for her birthday, she didn’t stop working. She was scheduled to play in Los Angeles Monday night (Mar. 29.
Gaga covers the Exhibitionist Issue of i-D magazine, wearing a latex coat designed by Mugler, along with Francesco Scognamilio trousers and Noritaka Tatehana shoes.
Gaga is also allowing the world to get adjusted to her extraterrestrial-esque face flares. i-D plays along, calling the feature “Alien Access.”
