Kinky Spy Anna Chapman Debuts on Russian TV (watch) 1Kinky Russian spy Anna Chapman is launching an American style reality show in Russia that is all about uncovering secrets, but not the kind that made her infamous for spying on the United States.

Chapman, 28, who has become a sex symbol in her home country because of her James Bond style espionage and the release of kinky nude photos on the Internet, will used her undercover skills to explore the occult.

The new television show debuted Friday on Russian television, making Chapman Russia’s hottest media commodity.

She obviously plays off her American experience, but makes no specific references to her life as a deep-cover mole.

“We don’t talk about the situation that made Anna famous. We understand that her activities were in the interests of the state,” REN-TV’s documentary series head Mikhail Tukmachyov told reporters.

The Russian government has been more than willing to accommodate Chapman’s celebrity, despite the fact that she and her group of spies were arrested without ever coming close to uncovering state secrets.

Instead, they came off as bumbling amateurs. But in Russia she’s played heavily off of James Bond in a photo shoot for the Russian edition of Maxim magazine.

In her show, she used her celebrity status to gain access to the family of a child from a rural Russian province to examine how Arabic writing mysteriously appeared on the boy’s body.

“My sources in Dagestan tell me that the Yakubovs fear for their lives,” and that they had previously denied reporters access. “I talked them into it,” she told the cameras, according to the AP.
