Lady Gaga tumbled from atop her piano and ended up sprawled on the floor at her Houston concert Sunday night (Apr. 10), but she showed that she is a true, if somewhat accident prone, trouper.
Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, is known for elaborate staging at her concerts, but she’s still feeling her way around when it comes to live concerts.
This time she was done in by her piano bench. It’s not the first time she’s taken an epic fall. But, like last night, she’s never lost the beat.
The Mother Monster climbed up on the piano bench and put one foot on the keys. The piano was in flames, while she sang “You and I.”
Near the end of the song, Gaga’s legs suddenly begin to part as the piano bench began sliding across the floor.
Her arms went up in the air as she lost her balance, and in the next second, the bench flipped.
Gaga rolled and fell and landed hard on her backside.
Her feet went up in the air and her head slammed down under the piano.
She rolled over sat up steading herself with one hand, the other still clutching the mic.
She crawled on all floors out from under the piano and got to her feet while the audience roared.
And, she continued singing the whole time!
