Ronson,, 33, was arrested near Baker, Calif, after she was pulled over in her Porsche for speeding, according to gossip Web site TMZ.
Baker is located in the Mojave Desert at the junction of I-15 and SR 127, also known as Death Valley Road.
The interstate links Los Angeles and Las Vegas.
Ronson was forced to perform several tasks used to test sobriety on the scene. When she failed to perform them adequately, she was offered a Breathalyzer test.
She refused to take what TMZ called a “roadside blow.”
Although the test is not mandatory and it’s accuracy is not 100 percent, refusing it can lead to an arrest.
Ronson was taken to a police station where she agreed to a test and exceeded the limit for driving while intoxicated.
In Calfornia, the legal limit is 0.08 percent for DUI and 0.16 percent for aggravated drunk driving.
A conviction can result in a six-month license suspension and possibly community service.
Lohan’s legal troubles in California stem from a 2007 DUI conviction.
Ronson DJ’d last night at the Lavo nightclub in the Palazzo hotel in Vegas, according to TMZ.
At the time she was dating Lohan, her family blamed the “Mean Girls” actress for being a bad influence.
But it looks like Ronson has no problem getting into trouble on her own.
