Christian Bale and a phalanx of stunt doubles in Batman costumes made all the right moves in a fight scene captured on video by a local Pittsburgh television station. It’s a cool glimpse of behind-the-scenes action.
Filming of the movie is continuing on the campus of Carnegie Mellon University and other locations around the region, and the set has been relatively open to roving media.
The station, WPIX, caught Dark Knight actors choreographing a free-for-all, pitting the caped crusader and the Gotham City Police against Arkham Asylum inmates and the evil Bane, played by Tom Hardy.

Several stunt doubles posing as Batman were on the scene, but Bale may not have been there for the ruckus.
The shoot in particular at Heinz Field, home to the Pittsburgh Steelers, also involved football players as extras.
Off-setting the thrill of being in the movie, actors were forced to wear heavy clothing to shoot the scene, which is supposed to be taking place in winter.
So far, fans have also gotten glimpses of Batman’s armored cars, three actually, and Anne Hathaway, as well as body doubles, as Catwoman, riding a motorcycle.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt as John Blake and Marion Cotillard as Miranda Tate have also been spotted on set.
