Taylor Swift was swept off her feet by the appearance of teen sensation Justin Bieber at her concert at LA’s Staples Center yesterday (Aug. 23) evening. What would Selena say?
Bieber’s appearance was obviously planned. Swift brought her him on stage to perform a duet of his hit song, “Baby,” with her.
“Who wants to see my friend Justin?,” Swift asked the nearly 15,000 fans crammed into the large arena.
Swift covered Bieber’s “Baby” during earlier shows in Montreal and Toronto in July, according to Billboard.
Swift is touring the country on her “Speak Now Tour,” and will wrap up in Madison Square Garden in November.
Swift rose up through the floor wearing a gold dress with shimmering fringe and kicked off the concert with her upbeat “Sparks Fly,” from current album Speak Now.
Her routine with Justin appeared to be well-rehearsed, judging from the video.
Bieber and four dancers took to the stage about two-thirds of the way through Swift’s two-hour-plus concert, the magazine reported.
Justin, of course, has been dating Selena, the former Disney teen sensation, and has appeared on stage at several of her shows to sing duets.
Justin and Taylor are said to be good friends, although Taylor is about three years older than Bieber.
