Heather Morris Domestic Violence Photos Draw Apology 2Glee star Heather Morris’ controversial Tyler Shields photo shoot has drawn apologies from the photographer after he was sharply criticized –including death threats– for glorifying domestic violence.

Shields has been a go-to photographer for troubled stars like Lindsay Lohan, who are desperate to extend their 15 minutes of fame.

He has also worked with other Young Hollywood stars, including Glee co-stars Dianna Agron and Jenna Ushkovitz.

But Heather’s photos are edgier.

Morris reps the darker side of domestic life, sporting a black eye as she contemplates a clothes iron–the symbol of domesticity.

TheImproper reported Sept. 1 that the photos appeared to sexualized domestic violence.

“In no way did we even think about promoting domestic violence,” Shields told London’s Daily Mail.

“A lot of people have been sending me death threats because they are angry I am promoting violence, which was never the case.

“However we do have people talking, so I will auction off three photos for $100,000 each and I will give every penny to charity if they sell.

“So if you are anti-domestic abuse spread the word about it. Threatening to kill me is not going to help anything.”

He’s got that right.

While several of the photos were provocative, the overall shoot actually seems to have a positive message.

Other photos, show Morris seemingly liberated and free, although one photo, where she dances under a bright spotlight could also symbolize death.

The auction will take place in October. Check out all of Tyler’s Glee photos.
