Scarlett Johansson sexes up Entertainment Weekly in a rocking cover shoot of her as Black Widow, one of the superheros who will star in the upcoming movie “The Avengers.” She joins an all-star cast.
The movie will unite Marvel comics superheros played by Robert Downey Jr. (Iron Man), Chris Hemsworth (Thor) Chris Evans (Captain America), Mark Ruffalo (The Incredible Hulk) and Jeremy Renner (Hawkeye).
The movie also stars Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson and Cobie Smulders.

We use the word “unite” loosely. “Just because they’re super heroes doesn’t mean they’re super friends,” says Renner.
The movie is not only action packed, but will portray the superheros as a rowdy, argumentative crew who can’t seem to see eye-to-eye on much of anything.
But off-camera, the cast and crew were rollicking good friends, according to the magazine.
The movie focuses on Nick Fury, director of the peacekeeping organization called S.H.I.E.L.D.. He recruits Iron Man, Hulk, Thor, and Captain America to save the world from destruction.
Josh Whedon was hired to direct the picture in April 2010.
He immediately rewrote the Zak Penn screenplay and told EW that the script has been a work in progress during shooting.
Production began in April in Albuquerque, NM before moving to Cleveland in August and New York City in September.
The Avengers is scheduled to be released on May 4, 2012.
