Emma Watson Just Another Student at Oxford University

Emma Watson is back at school, having forsaken Brown University in America for Oxford University in the U.K. She’s calling it a year of study abroad.

The “Harry Potter” star started her studies today (Oct. 17) and let her fans know via her blog that she’s going to be consumed with books and term papers.

She said she won’t have much time to write updates because she’ll be too busy studying.

“To Everyone who is starting a New School Year, (sorry those who have been at school for a while Oxford starts late) Just to say have a great term and good luck with all your work,” she wrote.

“You might not hear from me for a while because I will be really busy studying but I wanted to just say hi and bye :)”

She signed off by writing “Love Emma xx”

Her fans, however, may be seeing more of Emma than she lets on. She has two new movies coming out.

She spent the summer shooting “The Perks of Being a Wallflower,” directed by Stephen Chbosky, who wrote the book on which the picture is based.

It co-stars Logan Lerman as Charlie, Paul Rudd as Bill, Charlie’s English teacher, Mae Whitman as Mary-Elizabeth, Charlie’s first girlfriend and Nina Dobrev as Candace, Charlie’s sister.

Emma plays Sam, Patrick’s step-sister, who introduces high schooler Charlie to the world of sex and drugs in the coming of age film.

She also has a role in “My Week With Marilyn,” starring “Michelle Williams.” It’s an English film and period piece about Marilyn Monroe’s visit to the U.K. in 1957 to film “The Prince and the Showgirl.”

The film will be released in the U.S. on Nov. 4.

Watson, who left Brown last year, says she will return to the Ivy League college next year.
