Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Immortal for Real (video) 1Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were immortalized for real — in cement– following in the footsteps, literally, of dozens of top stars over the past 84 years at Grauman’s Chinese Theatre in Hollywood.

The trio was honored for their work in the “Twilight” series of movies, of course, which has taken the world by storm and made worldwide celebrities and multi-millinaires out of all of them.

Numerous Hollywood heavyweights have shared similar moments, sinking their hands and feet into cement and then signing their names to celebrate a landmark film, going back to 1927.

Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson and Rupert Grint from the “Harry Potter” films had their turn in 2007. Jack Nicholson (1974), Tom Cruise (1992), Anthony Hopkins (2001) and Brad Pitt (2007) are also immortalized there.

“I think this is the coolest thing I’ve done in my life,” said Stewart, who stars as Bella Swan in the film franchise.

“This is just an incredible honour because of how young we are and it’s kind of ridiculous and amazing at the same time,” said Rob, who co-stars as vampire and Bella’s lover Edward Cullen.

While Rob and Kristen have gone out of their way to avoid questions about their off-screen romance, they clearly showed affection for each other during the ceremony.

They jokingly menanced each other with their messy hands and Kristen touch Rob’s thigh affectionately.

As they were introduced, Rob came out first and then Kristen. He instinctively reached for her hand as the walked up to the podium, but Kristen pulled away.

“This is incredibly scary,” Rob said. This is such an incredible honor, how young we are, it’s kind of ridiculous and amazing at the same time.”

You should all come up here and put your hands in,” he said to the fans.

Kristen, 21, wore a super short nude dress with black piping and beaded detail that provided an eye-opening up-skirt shot for photographers.

Fortunately, she was wearing underwear.

Robert, 25, wore a grey suit and white shirt leaving with an open collar.

Taylor, 19, was dressed in jeans and a black shirt.

Talk Show host Jimmy Kimmel emceed the event and Stephanie Meyer, who wrote the books was also on hand.

“I am so excited for them today. I think this is really cool to be a part of Hollywood history,” she said.

The Twilight films, based on a series of best-selling novels by author Stephenie Meyer, have grossed more than $1.8 billion, so far globally, according to Box Office Mojo.

The next film in the series, Breaking Dawn, Part 1″ will be released Nov. 18 in the United States. The final film,
“Breaking Dawn, Part II” will hit theaters next year.
