Twilight stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner received a homecoming of sorts at the Twilight Convention in Los Angeles, where screaming fans showed their devotion to the movie phenomenon.
The three actors, who play vampire Edward Cullen, comely but withdrawn Bella Swan and shapeshifter Jacob Black, were joined by Director Bill Condon and other cast mates at the two-day convention at the Hyatt Regency Century Plaza Hotel in Century City.
With the latest in the series, “Breaking Dawn, Part 1,” set to debut in just 12 days, fan frezy was at a fever pitch at the convention as the Condon and the three stars manned one of several panels at the convention.
Also on the agenda were appearances by Peter Facinelli (Dr. Carlisle Cullen), Elizabeth Reaser (Esme Cullen), Jackson Rathbone (Jasper Hale), Ashley Greene (Alice Cullen), Nikki Reed (Rosalie Hale) and Charlie Bewley (Demetri of the Volturi ).
Movie studio Summit Entertainment and Creation Entertainment, a fan convention company, are hosting the event.
Separately, reports out of the UK claim that Rob and Kristen are in a quandary over where to live now that Twilight filming is finished.
The two have been jetting back and forth from Los Angeles and London, but they can’t seem to agree on where to settle, according to London’s Daily Mail.
“Kristen wasn’t keen to settle in London at first, and Rob is no fan of LA,” says a friend.
“He still dreams about living the quiet West London life he had before he found fame. He likes his no-frills lifestyle and can’t be bothered to upgrade to a luxury home.”
“It has caused tension with Kristen,” the source continued. “She lived at his London place while filming Snow White here, but she’s keen to find somewhere she feels is her home.”
“The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1” hits theaters Nov. 18. “Part 2″ is scheduled for release Nov. 16, 2012.
