Kim Kardashian lifted her self-imposed exile in the wake of her wedding scandal to appear last night (Nov. 21) on ABC’s “Dancing With The Stars.” It was clearly designed to start rebuilding her shattered image.
Kim kept her appearance low key. She sat next to momager Kris Jenner and her sisters Khloe Kardashian and Kourtney Kardashian to cheer on brother Rob Kardashian.
Rob who has been portrayed as a career-less, lazy moocher on Kim’s reality show “Keeping Up With the Kardashians”, was the star last night.
He scored a perfect 30, received raves from the judges and is the frontrunner, given Kim’s huge fan base, to win the competition tonight.
Kim made sure her appearance would be inoffensive and PG-rated by hiding her trademark curves under a tuxedo like outfit with a white, buttoned-up shirt and a black bow tie.
Momager Kris wore a matching androgynous outfit, so Kim wouldn’t feel so conspicuous.
Kourtney’s boyfriend Scott Disick, Kris’s husband Bruce and daughter Kendall were also there.
Rob scored his perfect30 for his freestyle routine with pro partner Cheryl Burke.
“Brilliant,” judge Bruno Tonioli shouted.
“You’ve just given your all,” Len Goodman followed. “Your family should be proud.”
Unfortunately the same can’t be said for Kim, who is still reeling after calling an end to her marriage to NBA basketball player Kris Humphries after just 72 days.
The followed their blowout wedding that reportedly generated nearly $18 million for Kim and her family.
With Kim now in the throes of a divorce, her reality series “Kourtney & Kim Take New York” is about to premiere. Kim reportedly is using the show to demonize Humphries in an attempt to generate sympathy for herself.
