Robert Pattinson’s and Kristen Stewart’s unearthly birth scene in “Breaking Dawn, Part I,” really can cause seizures, a leading epilepsy group says.

The Epilepsy Foundation of America has posted a message on its Facebook page warning that the red and white lights flashing during Bella’s birth scene can trigger so-called “photosensitive seizures.”

“If you have photosensitive seizures, it may be best for you to avoid seeing this movie,” reads the warning.

The group decided to alert its 11,000 Facebook followers after two theatergoers had seizures while watching the movie, the fourth and next to last film in the “Twilight” series.

Many thought it was a publicity stunt when Brandon Gephart of Roseville, Calif., claimed he began convulsing while watching the movie.

Girlfriend Kelly Bauman told local news stations that Gephart was “convulsing, snorting, trying to breathe.”

“He scared me big time,” he said.

At least nine instances of people suffering seizures during “Breaking Dawn” have been reported around the country, according to the group.

One man who blacked out was shaking, mumbling and blinking rapidly, his wife told ABC4 in south Jordan, Utah.

Flashing red lights are most often the culprit for triggering photosensitive epilepsy, experts said.

‘It’s like a light switch going off, because it hits your brain all at once,” Epilepsy specialist Dr. Michael G. Chez told the CBC news station in Sacramento.
