Jolie, 36, sported all-black pantsuit at a screening in New York on Dec. 6.
But the loose-fitting outfit accentuated the 5’7″ beauty’s thin legs and bony arms, which where also noticeable when she recently traveled to Vietnam.
The previous evening, Jolie and partner Brad Pitt, 47, lit up the red carpet at the New York City premiere of her film at School of Visual Arts.
Angelina, who wrote and directed the war drama, has said she doesn’t obsess over her much-discussed good looks.
“I always felt not traditionally beautiful,” she said. “I have big features…as I get older I look like my mom. And I love my mom.
“As long as Brad thinks I’m beautiful, I just don’t think about [it]. I wake up and I want to be a smarter person.”
According to some tabloid reports, she now weighs less than 100 pounds even though she should weigh closer to 125 pounds.
Now sources are pointing to her shocking diet. They claim she rarely eats a full meal and frequently will go without eating meals at all.
Angelina is eating as little as 600 calories a day, which is the equivalent of two bowls of cereal with milk, according to the UK’s Grazia magazine.
“Angelina has been known to start her day with little more than a spoonful of coconut oil and a handful of cereal,” a source told Grazia recently.
“The worrying thing is that she is so busy, she often forgets to eat.”
“Sometimes she’ll skip lunch altogether or will just grab a few almonds and some gummy bears while she’s on the go, or will have a protein-based shake rather than anything more substantial,” the source claims.
“Then dinner could be something like a lean steak and a glass of red wine.”
Angelina’s struggles with eating disorder are well-known and go back to her youth when she did drugs and engaged in cutting.
Her weight dropped sharply in 2007 when following the death of her mother Marcheline.
“I have always been lean, and this year I lost my mum and I’ve gone through a lot,” she said at the time.
Although there is no one thing in her life at the moment that could cause similar stress, sources say the combination of work, charitable endeavors, her six children and relationship with Pitt are all weighing on her.
“What with her career, Brad and their six kids, Angelina has a lot on. Yes, stress plays a part. She is the type of person who drops weight when she’s stressed out,” the source told the magazine.
“A lot of people are worried that she is taking things too far and that she won’t have the strength to do all the things she wants to do if she doesn’t gain some weight.
“Everyone has been begging her to eat more and she is trying not to get any skinnier, but unfortunately she just doesn’t seem to be putting on any more weight.”
