Lady Gaga has had an eerie premonition of her own death. It may be another stunt, or she may be getting a little full of herself, but she believes she’ll die like Princess Diana. In fact, she thinks she is Diana. WTF!?
Gaga, real name Stefani Germanotta, makes the startling revelation on an upcoming appearance on the Ellen DeGeneres show this Friday (Dec. 9).
In fact, Gaga is writing a song about Princess Diana, whom she calls a “martyr for fame.”
Diana led a tragic life after giving birth to Prince William and Prince Harry, divorcing her husband, the Prince of Wales. She died in Aug. 1997, at 36, in a Paris car crash while being hotly pursued by paparazzi.
The wreck, which also caused the death of her boyfriend, Dodi Fayed and their driver, Henri Paul, ignited an international uproar and a huge outpouring of sympathy.
Needless to say, UK tabloids are in a frenzy because of Gaga’s audacity to proclaim herself “a pop version of the Royal icon.”
Wait, hasn’t Madonna already gone there?
The Material Girl is such an Anglophile that she lived in Britain for several years, married English director Guy Ritchie (subsequently divorced) and even effects an English accent.
In any event, “Gaga has had dreams about dying the same way as her and has genuine fears that her fame could literally kill her, either in a chase, or at the hands of crazies,” a source told UK tabloid The Sun.
The singers 2009 hit “Paparazzi” was inspired by Diana’s tragic death, Gaga has said.
