Justin Bieber has posted a new video online of his “Christmas in Washington” performance before President Obama, the First Family and nearly 1,000 others. The show aired last night on the TNT network.
Bieber caused a bit of a panic when he blew off rehearsal for the annual pop concert taped at the expansive Building Museum in downtown Washington, D.c.
Also performing this year were Jennifer Hudson, the Band Perry, Nickelodeon star Victoria Justice and Cee Lo Green of “Fu*k You” fame.
Justin tweeted a link to a video of his performance on YouTube. The nearly nine minute clip, posted today, includes three of his songs.
He sang “Mistletoe”, “Away in a Manger” and joined in a chorus fir “Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.”
George Stevens Jr. executive produced and his son Michael Stevens served as executive producer and director.
Thet also jockeyed the Kennedy Center Honors, official Washington’s other chance to rub elbows with celebrities.
“This show, like all music shows, really has to evolve with the way the music business is evolving,” Michael Stevens told The Washington Post.
The show celebrated its 30th anniversary, as well as 30 years of support for the Children’s National Medical Center.
Justin was accompanied at the show by girlfriend Selena Gomez, who did not sing.
This was his second time performing for the president and assorted dignitaries. Two years ago, he said it was one of the few performances where he was nervous.
“Nothing is as nerve-wracking as performing for the president,” he said.
