Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Florence + the Machine and Jill Scott headlined an all-star list of performers at the “VH-1 Divas Celebrates Soul” concert, which paid homage to cities that helped create the soul sound.

Hudson was one of the most attention getting singer there, despite an array of flamboyantly dressed artists, because of her ever diminishing dress size.

The 25-year-old singer raised eyebrows after Joy Behar proclaimed on “The View” that Hudson had lost more than 80 pounds and was now a size zero.

“I’m going to finally address that size-zero thing that Joy said on ‘The View.’ Hell, I wasn’t even on the show. I never said I was a size zero,” Hudson told Ebony magazine in an effort to quell the stir.

Still she looked tiny last night, but she could still belt out a tune.

The VH1 Divas Live concert was launched in 1998 to support the station’s Save The Music Foundation.

Since then, it’s become a major event and rocked out the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York.

“This years’ telecast will showcase the vast impact soul music has had on the 21st century’s music and pop culture landscape as our talented and diverse lineup will attest,” said VH-1 executive Lee Rolontz.

The show included a range of artists across all genres of music. Country Music legend Dolly Parton, 65, was among the veteran performers at the show.

Chicago, Detroit, London, Philadelphia and Memphis were saluted as cities that gave birth to soul music.

The late Amy Winehouse was also saluted in a special tribute, Florence and the Machine and Wanda Jackson performed “Back to Black.”

They were followed by Sharon Jones & the Dap-Kings with rendition of “You Know I’m No Good.”

With the The Roots, with Questlove serving as musical director, each diva paid tribute through not only their own soul-inspired songs, but some of the greatest classics that have shaped a genre.

“VH1 Divas” is scheduled to air tonight (Dec. 19) at 9 p.m. ET/PT on VH1.
