Elin Nordegren, Tiger Woods Ex, Destroys $12M Mansion 1Tiger Woods ex-wife Elin Nordegren must have had a bad day. She’s apparently is taking out her frustration on her $12 million Florida mansion. She torn it down and will build new. Take that Tiger!

Nordegren has moved on with her life and out of the limelight since her marriage blew up in a Nov. 2009 cheating scandal.  Woods bedded more than a dozen women during their marriage.

By the time the scandal subsided, Nordegren walked away from with a divorce and a reported $100 million settlement. With that kind of money, whatever Elin wants Elin can apparently have.

The sprawling, six-bedroom mansion occupies prime beachfront property in North Palm Beach. It’s located about 10 miles from Tiger’s house in Jupiter, Fla.

Elin Nordegren Boyfriend Sordid Past

Elin, who is from Sweden, apparently plans to make the property her permanent home. She agreed as part of her divorce to live close to Woods for the sake of the children, four-year-old daughter Sam and two-year-old Charlie, with Woods.

The Swedish beauty apparently had to get permission from local authorities before she could demolish the property. She claimed the house wasn’t big enough for her family.

The structure, however, had more than 17,000 square feet of living space, eight bathrooms and a 4,700-square-foot basement.

Workers won’t be blabbing about the project. They’ve been forced to sign a confidentiality agreement to keep all details about the house private, according to celebrity website TMZ.com.

The question is will she try to one-up her pro-golfer ex husband. While they were still married, they built a $54 million mansion together. Woods got the house in their divorce.

And no wonder. It’s set on 12-acres with a 6,400-square-foot gym, media room and bar, an elevator, a reflecting pond, a lap pool.

Outside, there is a 3.5 acre practice facility with four greens, six bunkers a video center and a putting studio. “It’s also set up so I can hit shots out of my second-story studio,” Woods said on his blog.

Woods bought and tour down four mansions to build the property.
