Emma Watson LancomeEmma Watson’s career as a style and fashion icon continues to grow with her latest campaign for Lancôme’s lipstick and nail polish collection.

Watson has been anxious to shed her image as ragamuffin wizard Hermione Granger from the Harry Potter movies. And, her latest campaign shows she’s moved light years away.

Watson chopped off her shoulder-length hair for a short bob and continues that look. She’s the picture of chic sophistication. She wears her hair swept back in an shoulder-exposing silver sequined cocktail dress.

Her lips, the focus of the shoot are ruby red. She says in an accompanying video that she picked the color herself.

“It was probably the product I was most excited about when I came aboard Lancôme,” the 21-year-old actress said. “I actually chose the color that I wore in shoot, which is a really bright red.”

Emma reportedly had hand in developing the 24 lipsticks in the range called “Rouge in Love.”

She’s also added another line, called “Vernis is Love.” It encompasses nail polishes that range in color from nudes to brights. After months of working with the Lancome lab coats to create her favorite shades, the star is now ready to show them to the world.

Lancôme, who will be celebrating its 75th birthday later this year.

Watson is reportedly in discussions to star in “Your Voice in My Head,” about a young woman who attempts suicide. She’s saved a New York psychiatrist who’s dying of cancer. If it comes together, she’ll be working again with Director David Yates, who helmed the last four Potter films.

Watson is currently appearing in Oscar nominated, “My Week With Marilyn,” with Michelle Williams and will appear later this year in a movie about Stephen Chbosky’s coming-of-age novel “The Perks of Being a Wallflower.”
