Justin Bieber Splurges on $10M Hollywood Manse

Justin Bieber has scored remarkable success early in his career, and now that he’s 18, the high living has begun. He just spent $10 million on a sleek Hollywood Hills mansion. Will he regret it later.

The teen sensation has rocketed to success ever since he began posting YouTube videos on the Internet. But fame is fleeting. He wouldn’t be the first high-flying star to crash financially if his career wanes.

Right now, the prospect of a career downturn seems unlikely. But Justin wouldn’t be the first teen star to squander his fortune, only to wake up one day and discover his popularity had faded and his music had stopped selling.

Just ask MC Hammer.

The rapper, aka Stanley Kirk Burrell, scored his biggest commercial success and popularity from the late 1980s until the mid-1990s. At the top of his game he had it all, hit records, clothing line, stable of artists and a sprawling mansion.

But he ended up more than $13 million in debt because of dwindling album sales, unpaid loans and a lavish lifestyle. He filed for bankruptcy in April 1996 in California. He was 34.

While Justin’s career arc is on the rise, he should be careful not to set a financial trap for himself. Flashy real estate is one of the pitfalls. His new place has all the bells and whistles to go along with the price tag.

The House, almost 10,000 square feet in size, is a two-story contemporary loaded with windows to take in the expansive views of Lake Hollywood. The modern design is warmed up with loads of honey-colored wood. Ashton Kutcher rented the place for $50,000 a month after he split from Demi Moore.

It has five bedrooms, a private movie theatre, a bar room, a gym and massage room, a movie theater and a sprawling kitchen, with top finishes throughout. Outside there is a sweeping patio and stunning infinity pool.

He also has a new $100,000 Fisker Karma hybrid sports car for the garage, courtesy of his manager Scooter Braun and his mentor Usher.

“You work really, really hard. I always yell at you don’t get anything flashy. You know, we’re not about that. Be humble, be humble and I kind of broke my own rule.” Braun recounted on the Ellen DeGeneres show. Now Justin has broken the rule as well.
