Hailey Clauson, the naughty model who caused an uproar at New York Fashion Week last year, is hotter than ever in a new shoot for LF Stores Spring 2012 collection.
The Council of Fashion Designers of America issued voluntary age guidelines after the young model walked in Diane Von Furstenberg’s runway show in Feb. 2011 at the tender age of 15.
The designer, who is the council’s president, was deeply embarrassed because she had been crusading for age limits on runway models. She said she was unaware, at the time, of Clauson’s age. The council has since urged designers to refrain from using models under the age of 16.

In fairness to Clauson, she was less than a month shy of her 16th birthday. She also walked in shows for DKNY and Oscar de la Renta. The 5’11” beauty just turned 17 on March 7, and is one of fashion’s rising “it” girls.
Clauson also upended the fashion world last year when her parents sued Urban Outfitters and other retailers. They claimed a photo taken of Hailey when she was just 15 appeared on T-shirts sold by the chain without authorization. She demanded $28 million in damages.
The photo, ahem, showed Hailey posing provocatively on a motorcycle with her legs spread wide open in tight leather shorts, not exactly age appropriate. The suit claimed the “blatantly salacious” shot damaged her reputation and possibly violated kiddie-porn laws. The suit is moving forward in court.
Clauson was also criticized for starring in a controversial fashion spread that shows her pushed against a wall, being strangled. She also cavorted with a nude porn star in the shoot.
Despite her controversial debut, the Los Angeles native was named one of the “Top 10 Newcomers” for Spring/Summer 2011 fashion week by models.com. She’s been compared to fellow teen model Karlie Kloss.
In her latest shoot, Hailey poses for LF Stores, a high-end boutique-style chain for teen girls with stores in Los Angeles, New York, Miami and Houston. She wears multicolored denim, lace, simple tees and “rebellious” summerwear on Pismo Beach. Daniel Kincaid shot the spread, with styling by Alexandra Sherman.
